University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Child Development Partners with Young Dreamers’ Bookstore

We are excited about the impactful work our partner at the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Child Development is going to do this year in their Communities of Practice!

Through our partnership, they purchased bulk order of "high quality racially affirming picture books." These books are going to be used as tools to assist adults in "developing social emotional learning skills" while centering "racial equity" at the same time.

It is a great honor and pleasure to have a thoughtful partner who uses books as tools to ensure Black children thrive in Allegheny County! We look forward to seeing the deep impact your work will make this year and the years to come!
