Mt. Lebanon Hosts 2024 Juneteenth Celebration Featuring The Young Dreamers' Bookstore Pop-Up

The Juneteenth Pop-Up Celebration at Mt. Lebanon Main Park was a beautiful afternoon filled with joy, learning, and community spirit. Families gathered on Sunday, June 9, 2024, to honor the emancipation of people of African descent.

The Young Dreamers' Bookstore was proud to be a part of the event, offering a curated selection of children’s books that highlighted Black history, brilliance, and power of being a dynamic dreamer. We had the pleasure of meeting incredible families, educators, and community leaders in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

With music, local vendors, food, and engaging activities for all ages, the event created space for meaningful connection and reflection. We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our table and shared in the celebration. Juneteenth reminds us of how far we’ve come—and how powerful we are when we come together.
