YDBS Participates in BOOM Concepts Black Power Story Event at The Carnegie Museum of Art

On Saturday, we participated in the Carnegie Museum of Art’s Inside Out Program. This program featured Boom Concepts’ Black Power Storytime! During the Black Power Storytime, we read some our favorite stories and connected families with books that will inspire their children to dream big dreams!

We loved the vibe that Boom Concepts created at the event. We like to thank my brother Darrell Kinsel for the invitation to read out and dream out loud with all of the families who attended this life-giving event! We look forward to deepening our partnership!

We would also like to extend a special thanks to dana bishop-root Director of Carnegie Museum of Art’s Education and Public Programs department for purchasing books for their library. We look forward to more opportunities to work together to inspire kids to dream big dreams through the visual arts!

I want lastly say thank you to Tracksploitation for the virbant and entertaining music and Yummyholic for the tasty cookies! Our boys loved them!!!!
